Privacy

This page says what ClientClue collects, what it does with it and how you can have it deleted. It is written to be read.

What we collect

Your account: your name, your email address and a password, or the sign in you chose.

Your files: the customer messages you add, and the columns that go with them, such as dates, ratings and channels.

How much you use ClientClue: the number of messages read, so we can apply your plan.

Messages you send us through the contact page: your name, your email address and what you wrote.

Personal details in your messages

Before ClientClue AI reads a file, code hides personal details in it. Names from name columns, phone numbers, email addresses, account numbers, BVN and NIN numbers, card numbers and social handles are replaced with labels such as [phone].

ClientClue stores the hidden version of each message. The file you uploaded is not kept after it is added.

Hiding catches the usual shapes of personal details. It can miss something unusual, so look at the sample ClientClue shows you before you start.

Where it is processed

ClientClue runs on Google Cloud in the EU. Messages are read there by ClientClue AI, with personal details already hidden.

We do not use your messages to train models, and we do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Your hidden messages, issues and reports stay in your workspace until you delete them.

Messages sent through the free try-it page are deleted an hour after you send them.

Contact messages are kept so we can answer them.

Deleting your data

You can delete a project, with its messages and reports, from inside ClientClue at any time.

To delete your whole account, use the contact page and ask. We delete the account and its projects.

Share links

A share link opens one report, and nothing else. Anyone who has the link can read that report, so share it only with people you trust.
